A Cool Cat in a Dog's World, released November 2003, is essentially a compilation jazz CD telling the story of our first 5 years with Julian, our youngest son, and coming to grips with autism. A Hot Cat in a Dog's World is an eclectic mix of summer fun material across many genres conveying the lighter side of this disorder. These kids have an honest and fun way of loving that makes your spirit soar!
In a sense you could say that Julian is being held for ransom by 'this autism thing,' so naturally, as his parents, we would beg, borrow or steal to get him back. Fortunately, we didn't have to because of the generous contributions of the many artists and musicians that so willingly lent their talents to these projects. Without their generous consent to use their material for this purpose and help from our gracious sponsors, these CDs would not have been possible. We're pleased to say almost all of these musicians & sponsors have ties to our hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. We also appreciate the daily blessings of family and friends as we continue down this road together.
If you purchased this CD through Learning and Development Center (LDC), Autism Community Together (ACT) or other non-profit organization, 100% of those proceeds go to fund those autism programs. Otherwise, net proceeds go to offset behavioral and biomedical program expenses for our son Julian. Either way, you're helping kids with autism and we thank you for that!
And finally, thanks to our Heavenly Father, who holds us all in His hands.
