ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Come and Get It!" Is the debut release from the newly formed Colorado music group HOT LUNCH. This acoustic quartet
( Rodger Markham, mandolin; Donovan McNeiley, guitar;
Tom Geiman, standup bass; and Paul Block, percussion) puts a breath of fresh air into popular standards of various musical genres including Folk, Rock, Blues, Jazz,and Country.
Innovative guitar renditions coupled with mandolin leads, harmonic bass runs and unusual percussive rhythms compliment the varied vocal interpretations. The intricate arrangement of "Sixteen Tons", the native chant in "Geronimo's Cadillac", the simple melody of "Louise", the jazzy rock and roll of "Moondance", and the burning rendition of "Fever" are just a few reasons to listen to Come and Get It over and over again.

Can't get enough of Hot Lunch
Finally some good tunes with a different twist on musical arrangements. I love the way the mandolin and bass compliment each other.
