Band leader/drummer, FRANKIE LAROCKA (David Johansen, Bryan Adams, Noel Redding, Jon Bon Jovi) is joined by JACK O'NEILL (Earl Slick Band, Painted Faces) on vocals, JUMPIN' JORDAN LEE on the Fender bass, BOB DEL ROSSO on guitar (with a guest appearance on guitar by EARL SLICK, legendary collaborator with DAVID BOWIE and JOHN LENNON, on tracks #1, #8, and #12) to form a true blues band that has earned the respect of many on today's circuit. Hot Monkey Love captures the heart and soul of legendary blues musicians in this 12-noon to 12-midnight recording.

This cd seems like a better than average bar band putting together a set of blues covers. They actually capture the energy and vitality of live blues in the studio.
