notes

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It's the meal that gets you going in the morning and makes you able to withstand all the little hardships of life. But what about one's musical breakfast? Who can provide you with the essential rock that you need for the day?

There is only one answer to that question: Hot Waffles.

Hot Waffles is two brothers, Chris and Tim Waffle. The real-life brothers' eclectic brand of comedy folk-metal fusion is ready to take over the world.

Often called the greatest band ever to come out of Cypress California, they were formed as an emissary of comedy rock to the world. On television, they have appeared on EXTRA and G4's "Attack of the Show". They have played in local clubs in and around Los Angeles and Orange County such as The Hard Rock Café, B.B. Kings, Chain Reaction, The Queen Mary, The Cat Club and The Carpenter Performing Arts Center.. Hot Waffles has also performed live with Dr. Demento and has appeared on his nationally syndicated radio show. The brothers were also featured as part of the Orange County Comedy Festival in 2003.

Only one question remains; are YOU ready for Hot Waffles?

"Hot Waffles, a comedy-rock group from Orange County, and the third band of the evening, was definitely not timid. It began its set with "We Suck Live," ostensibly the usual opener. The song title does not speak truthfully of the band, however, evident by its crazy, energetic blend of humor and melodic noise. In the future, listen for "Salisbury Steak TV Dinner (I Love You)." -From the USC Daily Trojan, Wednesday, September 27, 2000"

Sorry if you were expecting Opera or Ophrah or clean Disney this isn't it. But if you want to wake up the neighbor with really insane lyrics and unique loud weird farm music that rocks which they won't play on your local Top 40 radio station well this is it. I saw them at MarsCon and I wasn't bored. They are honest, funny and they might be crazy which in our world where everyone is so serious and they act so perfect it's fresh air to find an act more down to earth that doesn't take themselves so serious.I didn't have any cash to buy this CD so I traded them one of my CDs and without even hearing my CD they said okay.So I went to live journal and they were begging people to write a positive review of their other new CD which I didn't trade for because this one had more of the tunes I liked.I actaully traded for 2 of my CDs for 2 of their's because the other CD had my most favorite song they do called We Suck Live but neither of these are their new one so I'm sorry Hot Waffles but I couldn't write a review of your new CD though if it's anything like this one I'm sure it is great. When I met the Hot Waffles I was very happy to see them because they dress weird and they were very friendly and they even told me they would like to do a cover of my song I Like My Mother so I hope you will support them and buy all their CDs and if you are interested in which song made me laugh I would say if you can play this whole CD without laughing then maybe you need to eat more waffles or get your CD player fixed. Thanks Hot Waffles and I hope we meet again someday-APS

I own every Hot Waffles album but this marks the greatest acheivement yet by the Brothers Waffle. The compact disc itself is even made to be in the shape of a round frozen waffle. Amazing yet true! P.S. I'm not related to these guys.

The Waffle Brothers have truly outdone themselves this time. George Lucas is definately a crowd pleaser, but Please Don't Steal This Song and The Breakup will have you rolling on the floor. I highly recommend this CD for anyone who enjoys clever comedy rock.

  • Hot Waffles rock.

Hot waffles do indeed rock. And so does the band. This is definiately their best effort yet, and it shows. George Lucas Raped Our Childhood is the best Star Wars song ever written, Cows is so bouncy and happy, The Chosen sounds like a Tenacious D song, Bass is a true song sung by a true bassist, and Christmas When You're Goth is hilarious. If you like funny music, this CD is a must-have.

The CD was wicked cool. It starts off with a bang and just keeps you laughing the whole way through while managing to keep your foot tapping! If you're into comedy music, this CD is the bomb-ski!!!!
