This anthology of Hound's prolific discography charts exhilirating hope and exasperating despair of dying "a thousand deaths all for no cause", with a common thread of honesty, perhaps best balanced in "I Will". Musically, this builds on legacy of Tull and Zeppelin, but in many ways is more eclectic. The drums take center stage on "Deal of a Lifetime", then lay back a cool groove on "Within". I especially like "Pauline", an unusually haunting and dark tune.
