Houston – Stephens Project – Biography

The Houston – Stephens Project is a songwriting collaboration consisting of PT Houston and Paul Stephens. The duo’s focus is writing Country music for recording consideration by various major and independent label artists. HSP also releases material independently, as is the case with “Blue September”; which features many of the musicians and vocalist who record regularly with the duo.

PT Houston has spent the last twelve years recording songs for many of the biggest hit songwriters in Nashville. His background includes touring the world as guitarist with country legend, Freddie Fender; and others like Randy Meisner (Eagles), Billy Swan, and Phil Everly (Everly Brothers).

Paul Stephens’ is a Nashville based songwriter. Paul’s prior history includes releasing five independent albums and sharing bills with the likes of Jim Lauderdale, Gary Bennett (BR549), Webb Wilder, Brian Henneman (Bottlerocket’s), Bugs Henderson, Leon Russell and Rick Derringer.
