Album Notes

"The humans did not survive. Herein lies what remains." In this hour-long continuous soundscape, creatures and monsters big and small can be heard roaming the wild and approaching you too, while spirits demons and geists whirl throughout. Sometimes they are near, other times they seem far away. HAUNTED WORLD is a merge of music and sound, with a balance of suspense and surprise.

This ominous soundscape, created by film composer and sound designer Billy Mallery, is designed to be one long sonic experience without breaks or narration, though the 36 different tracks allow one instant access to any "event" that they wish to hear... or cue up for approaching Halloweeners!

We HIGHLY recommend that you buy the CD as opposed to downloading separate tracks from other sites; this way you can be assured to have no pauses between the tracks, and hear HAUNTED WORLD as it was meant to be... a non-stop, hour-long, horrific experience.

Dark and Beautiful!

There was only one album that I could compare this to, and that was Brian Eno/Roger Eno's ON LAND. This has taken that beautiful, haunting ambience concept even further into darker and more menacing landscapes. For those of us that are sick of cutesy Halloween stuff, and want some darkness brought back to it, this cd is essential. Plus, it's not just for Halloween anymore!

Haunt World really gives the feel of a dark dissembodied world

I've read that some people said this cd is too repetitive,but this has a sound effects theme & if i turn out the lights,& listen to the entire cd,i feel that I'm in another dark world being hunted by dissembodied creatures with no escape!This is a great sound F/X cd & should be in any serious haunters sound effects collection ! Excellent job,would love to hear
