Howard was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He started playing guitar and writing songs at a young age.
* Cyber Girl, was written about a Jewish girl Howard met on the internet. He planned to marry her. After moving to Israel and several months passed by they split up.
* Something About You was written after a date with a Pentagon Official. This song was written in the car while Howard taking Her home after dinner on the first date.
* Open Her eyes was written about His niece who repeatedly attempted suicide.
* Waiting was written for Ksenia (CD Cover). This song was written after a long period of no contact occurred, after Ksenia went back to Russia.
* The vocals on "Open her eyes" were laid down in a van parked 200 foot from the his house. Howard did not want to disturb his family members while sleeping, but could not wait anymore finish the song.
* Sweet Thing was written about a Baltimore girl Howard dated. Howard stated He really doesn't care much for this tune but the words fit her to a T.
* Hard Time was written after a 24 hour road trip with his Son. The 24 hour trip consisted of non stop RAP blowing from His sons' Lexus speakers.
* After Howard's Son in Law heard Something About You, he told Howard that he needed a female singer to sing back every other verse. So Howard drafted His Daughter for the part.
* Howard flew to Oahu Hawaii with only 20 dollars in his pocket. He had never been there before, did not know anyone or have a set plan. He stated he just needed a change of scenery.
* Howard turned down numerous music contracts in 1991? Including a 3 year performance contract as lead singer for the Naval Academy Band "Electric Brigade", and a 2 year recording contract with "Charlie Miller" of the temptations, to stay with His family, only to find Himself in divorce court in 1994.
* Howard encouraged his Son to write music and sing. A year later "King D", had already attained 1.5 million hits on Myspace.
* Howard wrote, performed every instrument, and recorded every song on this CD, (except "In the Rain" King D and A to the P), but after He layed down the musical tracks, He could not remember how to play any of the parts.
