ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Howard Parker and his HOT Take-Out Band's "LIVE" CD captures highlights from one magical evening at CBGB's Gallery in NYC.

Howard's fresh approach as a singer/songwriter draws from a true melting pot of Americana.

He is backed by the percussive rhythmic interpretations of Milt Januse, and Mark Hamza's swampy blues accordian.

Howard's own journey through the myriad modes of music has created a new sound that will touch your heart, lift your spirit, and launch you on a personal journey through your soul!

Gumbo Licious,new Orleans

Loved the originality of the musicians a breath of acoustic fresh air
I loved how the band used traditional acoustic instuments and came up with such a fat greasy gumbo type sound. I thought the tracks to be very diverse with a driving bottom and swirling accodian through all. Hope to hear more.

Bop, sob and makes you think of her
Parker hits home on the one who got away. New loves and old flames. Love the accordian(dream state) and I have to see that this guy the king of the tamborine. Bought it love.
