St. Peter is stoned.
How To Win At Life has slipped through the cracks again.
Do you want to hear something beautiful?
We do.
After staying at the Easy Going Hostel and at Terry's house, we really do want to play music and get paid for it, but that can wait. We can center the clay and oil paint, while evading traffic accidents and eating free meals. We play luscious, powerful rock music that has often been compared to Queen and Jeff Buckley. Members include Sheepdawg (Dubuque, Iowa), ScottSadlon (Cincinnati, Ohio), Mr. Prezident (Washington DC) and Ben Leon (Fresno, CA). Bottom line, this is ridiculously good music, recorded and live. Listen to it now and invest, or hear it later after we're dead and wish you had heard it when we were alive.

Alot of sex, soul, and sauce for seven dollars

When I think of the $1.25 I spent on a parking meter that ended up being broken and resulted in a facist parking ticket anyway, I am redeemed by the fact that I can spend the same amount on a song from these purveyors of new rock music that takes me away from all this pain. I think Bowie and T. Rex would invite these gents to a pool party and have a hell of a time. Kudos HTWAL!!!

This band is amazing
author: Arnold Shapasian
From tune to tune you aren't given a break from sheer emotion and good times. Great and refreshing songwriting and song craft, reminds one of Beatles, Queen, Supertramp, and the like but very original in its own way. There are some great quotable lines in every song that you can apply to situations of love, heartache, and confusion. If there is any justice in the world these guys should be making lots more records and playing to large audiences

soaring, listen on long drives, infinitely quotable

There's not a weak tune on this album. I love this band and I love this record. HTWAL lyrics fit when i can't find the right words. Doesn't sound very LA to me, heavy dose of the Fresno sentimentality that I have grown to appreciate. The Jeff Buckley comparison is appropriate.
