Album Notes

HeartStrings Dulcimer Quartet is composed of Bob and Rose Taunton, husband and wife, and Betty Reeves and Barbara Betts, mother and daughter. When they found themselves as members of the same mountain dulcimer club (Montgomery Dulcimer Players), with mutual love of old-time music, and frequently shared camping trips at music festivals, they decided to become and official "group" in 2004.

Since then they have appeared at numerours events throughout the south, and recorded their first CD "Christmas With Heart in 2006.

Their specialty is old-time mountain music, with a sprinkling of nostalgic tunes and anything else that tugs at the "heartstrings". Their audiences frequently laugh or shed a tear at their "heartfelt" music.

Spend an afternoon on the front porch with these folks, and we think you'll remember it for a long time.
