Hawaiian Slack Key Kings Vol.II again reflects the diversity of styles in the slack key genre from very traditional sounds of Ledward Kaapana, uncle Bobby Moderow and Kamuela Kimokeo to the more comtemporary offerings of Kawika Kahiapo, Lt Smooth, Pali, Makana, Stephen Inglis and others. With this project we hope to bring new and different compositions for the enjoyment of our loyal fans around the world. While many of the tracks are solo guitar with or without vocals others are augmented with upright bass to give the listener a fuller and bigger sound. i am confident that you will find a track that touches you in a personal way and perhaps others tracks that is relevant to your existing world of sound and aural experiences and give meaning to some of your thoughts and observations that you have not been able to articulate verbally but feel it in the spaces of your mind. you will feel the Aloha!
