Album Notes

The Honey Tongue Devils are a heavy roots rock band with an impressive first record of classic songs and a live show that seems to successfully mix Black Sabbath, Faces, Little Feat, and the Band into a sweet blended thick haze of smoke that every rock fan should get a drag off. With those dynamic sprinkles of influence, vintage tone, lyrical depth, and pure dirty rock & roll vibe all over this ten track first release, the Honey Tongue Devils could be the reinforcements needed to help bands like The Black Crowes, The Raconteurs, Jet, Buckcherry, Wolfmother, The Black keys, and the White Stripes keep rock alive in the present American musical climate of 10 cent, weightless, boy bands with guitars, and gift shop rock.

If you don't know...

You need to know!!! These guys can really groove, I found them on Myspace and fell in love with there classic dirt tones. Since buying their album I have listened to it every day just wishing there was more then ten songs... So sad. They are very similar to the Black Crowes, Zeppelin or rod Stuart. Beautiful, now go buy it.

The album is very, very good and has been in heavy rotation on my CD player. Lots of TBC/CR influence on this one, but that's not a bad thing. I hope these guys tour the Northeast.
