Album Notes

In our fifth album, we set out to express it all: joy, melancholy, an urge for dancing... it´s an album of “hipped” Venezuelan music, made with the heart and above all with "candela" - that is, "fire"!

Several renowned Venezuelan musicians feature as special guests: Ilan Chester, Simón Díaz (composer of "Caballo Viejo"), Pedro Castillo, the super-band GUACO, “El Pavo” Frank Hernández, and “El Goyo” Reyna. All of them performing updated versions of their timeless, classic songs, or new and original music by Huáscar Barradas y Maracaibo.
