Album Notes

The Hudson Debacle is a sweet rock band from the Boston area. We play bass, keys, drums, and guitar and all sing. We play all originals, which, for the sake of comparison, are similar to Replacements, Decendants, Queen, Weezer, heavy metal, punk, new wave, new wave, and all sorts of different stuff. Not too hard to describe, really, just big fun fast rock songs with distorted guitar and keyboards.

Lyrically, our songs are typically about alcoholism, teenage sex, and metaphysics.

Central to our band is the notion of having fun. It is, to a degree, institutionalized within the band, and is our over arching guiding construct. The Debacle is formed out of Technologist/joker D. Austin Nash on guitar, art-wierdo/executive TASM Lab loser Jeff Till, cosmologist/PhD candidate Xavier Siemens, and physics professor Chris Beck.

The Hudson Debacle are out and ready to play. We hope to see you soon at bar near us.

Thanks so much!
