Album Notes

Hudson Rail Company (HRC) is from NJ/NYC and was formed in 2006. The band is comprised of Leigh Wilson (vocals/guitar), Arun Viswanathan (lead guitar), Jim Russo (drums), and our newest addition Jim O\'Gara (bass). Our sound is made of many different influences, but has gained most of its inspiration through classic rock, jam bands, and indie/alternative groups of the past and present.

HRC released their DEMO CD on 8/11/07 at Crash Mansion in New York City to a crowd of almost 200 people. That was soon followed by a few more packed shows in at Arlene\'s Grocery the legendary Knitting Factory. The realization then became clear that is was time to head back into the studio in October 2007 to complete their first official debut EP for the world. HRC is excited about the direction of their music and will soon be available for download on iTunes, Amazon, E Music, Rhapsody and Napster starting July 20th 2008.

Collectively, HRC are all very hard working and dedicated musicians at heart- completely set on bringing you not only good CDs and downloads, but awesome live performances. They are committed to their music and it shows from the dedication they have all displayed to be in their rehearsal studio space (that was just recently upgraded) in Jersey City, NJ at least 3 times a week. Their goal beginning the summer of 2008 is to be playing shows out at least once a month and continuing to gain exposure in and around the Tri State area, and ultimatley on a national level.
