this is the music you always wanted to hear
finally some one who's as dumb as you
real people addresing real issues
like foot fungus,and loving lesbians
asking questions like who is driving and who's gonna feed the bleeding babies
and answering questions bear is driving
if you're smart you'll give this a listen
or you could always knit another sweateror bake a cake or something i guess

Wow! After purchasing this album on a whim, I came home to one of the best new albums I've heard. It's so complex and interesting. There're a lot of gems on this album, and I adore even the silliest songs. "Serpent Dreams" is awesome. This is like if early Sebadoh cared more about audible vocals and funky rhythms.

This album is gutsy, and way ahead of its time.

Hugga Broomstik can only be described using words they've invented, or rather, words they are attempting to introduce to the vernacular tongue. To say the very least, they don't womp. After creating their own genre called "talent rock," these New York City natives have been breaking barriers and allowing their musical inhibitions to be left behind. This album is gutsy, and way ahead of its time. My favorite tracks include Zoe The Sequel, and Karate Kid William. Pick up the CD, it's well worth it.
