Hugh's c.d.'Never Been Before'has recieved multiple award nominations, including Toronto Independent and Southern California music awards. Hugh was also voted one of the top 'live' acoustic male performers in Orange County California at the 2007 O.C. Music awards.

Hugh's music brings together elements of pop, folk and rock creating an passionate eclectic sound.

The combination of Hugh's voice and his unique acoustic guitar playing style come together to create the heartfelt canvas for his songs.

On 'Never been before' Hugh takes the listener on a rollercoaster emotional journey. From the C.D.'s opening words "Love can take us, up above the stars" to the final haunting verse of Hugh's version of the traditional Irish ballad 'She moved through the fair'. You are left realizing the incredible diversity and depth of this upcoming artist's ability.

Whether singing about love or loss, facing adversity or fighting inner demons. Hugh sings with a simplicity and honesty that shines through in all his songs.

In order to create a better live feel for this C.D. Hugh recorded all the main vocals and guitar tracks simultaneously in complete 'live' takes. These 'live' takes provided the foundation on which additional music was then built.

Not only does Hugh sing, write songs and play acoustic guitar. Hugh also played acoustic bass, keyboards, percussion and programmed the drums on 'Never been before'.
