The combination of Hugh's voice and his unique acoustic guitar playing style come together to create the heartfelt canvas for his songs.

From the C.D.'s opening words "Love can take us, up above the stars" to the final haunting verse of Hugh's version of the traditional Irish ballad 'She moved through the fair'. In order to create a better live feel for this C.D. Hugh recorded all the main vocals and guitar tracks simultaneously in complete 'live' takes. These 'live' takes provided the foundation on which additional music was then built.

Hugh sings all the vocals, played acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, keyboards, percussion and programmed the drums on 'Never been before'.
