Huke, bought your cd today and i think it is after Israel Nash gripka in 2009, Dylan leblanc in 2010, the sensation of 2011. A very good cd with great lyrics and sublime musical framing. I will enjoy this record very much in the last months of 2011 and very well be in the years to come.

These songs come at you hard and don't let up. Acoustic story-telling straight from a wizened heart. They rock with nary an electric note. They burn going doing and will stay with you. I've been listening to this album obsessively. Tom Waits and Robert Earl Keen and the early Dylan sprinkled on a style all his own. 

"Devil's Shout" and "Bare Bone" are my favorite tracks, but you can pick and choose. Not a miss on this whole album.
