Karen Hulatt resides in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, an area of outstanding beauty that is steeped in history. Scattered across the Dales you will find castles, monastaries and stately homes which offer the visitor the opportunity to step back in time, to a time when the Church was at the center of everyone's life. In every hamlet, village and town there lies a church, central to the community; each one being unique, some dating back almost 1000 years.

From this heritage Karen draws her inspirations, with performances in churches across the country and beyond. From a very early age her pure soprano voice has delighted innumerable congregations and audiences who have had the pleasure of hearing her sing.

The songs featured on this album were chosen by Karen for their deep and meaningful lyrics and positive messages. They will strike a chord with everyone who has a love for poetic words that speak of the beauty of life itself.
