Circuit of Heaven is primarily industrial dance, but flirts with elements of trance, hardcore (the electronic kind), and rock. Christian themes pervade the album lyrically. Driving drum kits and deep bass lines underscore the dance-ability.

Album Notes

"Circuit of Heaven" is Human 2.7's Freshman album. Tracks on this album, or elements thereof, have been compared variously to tracks by Scott Brown, Paul Oakenfold, Front 242, VNV Nation, and Assemblage 23. Compositionally, Human 2.7 leans very strongly toward industrial dance music, but is the product of an individual with trance and hardcore punk roots. Some tracks, like "Sin Aesthetic", are more heavily influenced by trance while others, like "Souls In Trust", incorporate more guitar and rock elements.

Darkchild, the band's only member, composes the synth lines, plays guitar riffs, sings vocals, and writes the lyrics. Musically, he believes in songs a person can dance to. If there's no beat driving you and you don't find yourself wanting to move, then the music is probably weak. Likewise, Darkchild believes that lyrics should be honest. With that in mind, he writes lyrics that see things through a Christian lens.
