Album Notes

The Human Flight Committee began in the winter of 2002. Since then they have played in excess of 300 shows from Maine, to Florida, to the midwest and everywhere in between. These shows have included many major festivals as well. Their first of two US tours in 2004 was with Triple Crown recording artists The Receiving End Of Sirens. Live, fans are offered a performance that is virtually unmatched by most bands of today. With an incalculable measure of energy, the HFC blasts through their set, raising the stage presence standard for today's bands while maintaining their reputation of a tightness. "Small Business Solutions" is 6 songs of complex and mature indie rock for fans of Refused, At The Drive-In, Cursive, The Beatles, The Who and Led Zeppelin.

They have shared the stage with Q and Not U, Engine Down, Norma Jean, MeWithoutYou, Read Yellow, The Elms, The Evan Anthem, TwoThirtyEight, Count The Stars, Silent Drive, Element 101, El Guapo, The Black Eyes, Spoken, Over It, A Small Victory, Counterfit, Embodyment, Tokyo Rose, The Lyndsay Diaries, Cool Hand Luke and many more.

This album makes me wish At The Drive-in was still together. The songs have characters and a plot. The music has feeling. The only question I have is whether or not this bad is Christian.
