The Human Is back with his new CD, Human Project II, "Humanized," a follow up to his successful 2006 release, "The Real Stuff." "Humanized" contains 10 more original songs that venture into hard rockin territory characterized by crunchy guitars, drivin bass lines and killer keyboards...and of course the Human's vocals right out front. The Human has developed quite a following with fans across the globe because his lyrics paint vivid pictures of real life and the music will get you thinking, smilin and movin.
"My V8 Ford" absolutely sets the disc on fire with its driving groove and lyrics that take you on a journey that begins at a Texas roadhouse just outside of Dallas. "Bad Momma" will get you in a Stones type rock and roll shakin groove. The southern rocker "Goin South" will take you on a journey to southern hotspots and will set you down on Beale St. in Memphis. "High Anxiety" is a killer blues rocker that sounds like it came out of the Mississippi Delta. Not completely abandoning his blues roots is the slow soulful tune "The Creepers." The mood is set with Dana Long's killer guitar rhythm and hot riffs that set a haunting tone. The Human's vocal takes you on a scary trip out into the streets soaked by the light of a full moon where people creepin are up to no good. Then there is "Modern Day Folksong," a statement by The Human on his frustrations with the middle east. From top to bottom, this CD rocks and takes you on a journey that you can easily relate to...you have probably been there or know someone who has. So, get ready to get "Humanized." There just ain't that much music like this out there anymore.

Excellent Straight Up, Rock and Roll CD
author: William and the RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team
"Humanized" by The Human Project II is a collection of pumping, catchy southern rock songs. This album rocks the whole way through with driving rhythms, punchy beats and crunchy guitars. The songs are about everything from booze to cars to payin' taxes. The lyrics are creative and well delivered. The sound is raw and very "Live." Highlights are "The Creepers," a slow blues jam with haunting lyrics. This is the only track with a slower pace. "My V8 Ford" will rock you out of your rocker with driving drums and a Rockabilly vibe. "High Anxiety" takes you back to the swampland and delivers a message that will strike a chord with many listeners in regards to skippin' town. If you like good ol' rock and roll you'll enjoy this one.

Human Project II Great Work
author: Randy
Thank goodness it is more people than i that enjoy Elvin Bishop, Wet Willie(Jimmy Hall) and that wonderful soulful southern blues rock with some nice vocals and guitar picking, heavy with some bass. Now i get to listen to some great music again that i thought was possibly gone. Please keep on cranking out the cd's. This music is great. Goin South is nice, Deep River and Taxman i can't get enough of. Throw in a little Marshall Tucker, Hank Jr, Warren Zevon, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet and i hear a little of all these greats in The Human Project. Now i am back to listening to the music i grew up on in TN.
