Out of Berkeley California, this hard-hitting trio has their own take on hook laden Rock&Roll. Born in the fall of 2004, this group of long time friends began playing music together and quickly headed off to the recording studio where they created thier independent release "Rockus-Humanzis". Thier sound incorporates synth guitar tones over creatively sycopated rythem sections. This along with strong vocals and creative instrumentation, give this band thier own unque sound. Comparisons have been made to the Police and the vocal melodies of Duran Duran..

Different and amazing music.
author: Joseph Calleri - Drum Instructor - Fremont
After listening to this CD I purchace several more to give out to friends who I knew would like it. The CD has something for everyone. One friend gave me a link to the band's tagworld.com page where it had some really great photos, new music and some studio videos. This band is giving us something new to think about. The drummer has some really amazing rhythms that you don't hear often in this kind of music. The bass and vocals are very unique and textured. Keep a watch for their new music. Give these boys a label...

You take a personal liking to their CD once the first track starts playing. The music is as different as their name.
There are so many different textures from song to song and lots of nuances to hear within. It also leaves you in wonder as to why these guys aren't signed to a label yet.
We need more Humanzee, and soon! M.F.

this CD hasn't left my sterio since i got it afew months back. The songs and vocals are awesome!! very melodic and catchy but not in a stupid candy coated pop way, the're kind of progrock.Humanzee does kind of fit into that 80's new wave revival thing thats big right now, but it's cooler than that. thier songs are inovative. i haven't really heard anything like it, except for the moments when the do sound just like the Police(wishing well). they sound like there from England but thier from California, one of those...the last song on the CD is beutiful!! i love this bands music and wish the world new about them. commercial music is terible these days we could use Humanzee!! i wish it were longer though! only 8 songs! i need more Humanzee!
