Album Notes

"Twist The Truth" is the third release for the Minneapolis based pop/rock group The Humbugs. It follows 1999's debut EP "Hey That's My Bike" and 2002's critically acclaimed full length "Stereo Types"(listed in David Bash's Top 100 releases for 2002, Amplifier Magazine). For "Twist The Truth" The Humbugs went back to the Terrarium, one of Minneapolis' premier recording facilities, with producer Jacques Wait (Minnesota Music Awards - Producer Of The Year, 2004). Continuing to expand their musical horizons, The Humbugs fleshed out their two guitars, bass and drums sound with their
signature layered vocals, additional percussion and keyboards, including the Optigan, Prophet 5 and Juno 60. "Twist The Truth" is by far their most ambitious effort to date. Since "Stereo Types", The Humbugs have toured from NYC to Chicago to San Francisco and many places in between. They will be heading back to Chicago for their 4th consecutive appearance at the International Pop Overthrow Music Festival in April.
