Album Notes

Through the years, The Hungry Monks and its individual members have been involved in many holiday projects, both performing and recording. Drawing from a diverse repertoire of traditional, and not so traditional, music associated with the holiday season, we present a musical entertainment that captures a bit of both the sacred and secular side of this time of year. You will find some rather traditional melodies in rather untraditional settings, along with some lesser known holiday music, and some tunes that you may never have associated with this time of year. All of it is imbued with a Celtic feel in its performance and instrumentation. We hope it finds a place among your favorite holiday (and year round) recordings.

The Hungry Monks
