I really like the unique celtic rock sound on this album. I get extremely bored with what is played on the radio all the time and this album breaks that mold. Breakfast with the Elders has a great mix of upbeat celtic rock and instrumental songs. This is a fun CD to listen to I won't be getting bored with this one -- I've already listened to it over a dozen times and still enjoy it!

This music takes you from your everyday world to another place.

The abundance of engaging and memorable melodies makes Breakfast with the Elders a real treat for the ears. The occasional sounds of nature give the album an earthy and organic feel, creating images of the lush countryside in your mind. This music takes you from your everyday world to another place, which is what good music is all about.

This is good time music alright!
author: Bill from 'Something Catchy' -Southport, UK
This was from our pal Bill in Southport, England: This is good time music alright and... all tracks completely original. I loved the 'Hunting For Haggis' track the best so far and this is only the first hearing. My fondness for Scots, and Scotland is wrapped up here too (We go on hol in Sept and we're going to tour the far north). The web site is perfect and has a Celtic feel and overt Scottish style. The cross-over references to Haggis (being Scottish) and Guinness (being Irish) are clever and funny as it made me laugh. :-) I see that ancestral roots are portrayed here most strongly by marketing to a apparent culturally starved U S populace intelligencia. Bean and Co have created a sure fire winning formula here... (Just like wot the Elders have dun). Lets hope the ethnic music on this CD reaches the places of most importance and that it becomes a launch pad of pleasure listening for millions of nice people like us. Say 'Well done to all', and in there Claire, I know there is a fair good chunk of you too. PS: We played the Cavern last night... We got a brilliant reception from the audience. They wouldn't let us go home... and we didn't want to. Thanks Bill! We'll see you in Dublin this fall and 'av a craic! -Zeus (All: Yes the Cavern referred to above is the same one of Beatles fame)
