Written in Northern Virginia in 2002, after a casual comment from Sam Bush about 9/11, the D.C. Sniper and paranoia in our nation's capital. Started out funny, ended up creepy.
A Lot to Learn
Written in anger after 9/11. Then I realized this is what all victims of brutality feel, righteous anger and a burning desire for justice.
A Heart of Fire
For a long time I thought this was too personal to record. Maybe it was.
When things go so wrong, we look for a pattern, some way to make sense of the of loss and grief, some way to connect cataclysm to reason.
Sometimes it rains inside, deep inside.
