Album Notes

Ron Hutchens spent his early years in Asheboro,N.C., playing piano in various bands.In 1980 he moved to Nashville to pursue writing,studio sessions, and performing with national touring acts.In 2000, he released a CD \"Night Dances\" with \"The Strange-Hutchens Ensemble\" which played on several jazz stations around the country.His publishing company \"A-Town Music\",has signed other writers, and includes his songs by \"Blue Tears\" on MCA, and \"Attraction 65\" on Atenzia Records.
Terry Vuncannon loves to play guitar and lap steel.He began playing at age 10, and by age 19, he was playing professionally in N.C. circuit bands up and down the east coast from N.Y. to Florida.Terry has studied styles of Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton,and Larry Carlton,while his lap steel influences range from Jackson Browne sideman David Lindley, to the Norway based Steinar Gregertsen.
Together they have recorded this project, after 2 years back and forth, 500 miles between 2 states,this instumental collection of blues,jazz,and funkiness.This project truly reflects their passion for music.
