The music produced by the label includes Rap, Rock, and a mixture of the two types. Current artists on the label include Funktional Disorder, Ric Hard, and Metaphysical. Metaphysical is a soft-spoken blunt-puffing philosopher who wants to take you into the dimension of thought, theory, and rhyme. With lyrics that provoke introspection, beats that instigate intensity, and hooks that make you get involved, Metaphysical adds another dimension to the science of rap.Ric Hard Ric Hard is an explosive performer. HE has been in several major rap artist videos including Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre. Master P, Ice Cube and Luke, just to name a few. He has produced 3 albums by himself and has sold several units from the trunk of his vehicle. Ric Hard is one of the biggest underground rap artists in LA. He's a new school pop-locker, one fo the best that you will ever see in life. Ric Hard is on the verge of taking over the entire rap game and becoming a household name. He's the type of artist that you would never forget once you've seen him perform. He's hard enough for the fellow and sensitive enough for the ladies. Metaphysical Bio Metaphysical is a soft-spoken blunt-puffing philosopher who wants to take you into the dimension of thought, theory, and rhyme. With lyrics that provoke introspection, beats that instigate intensity, and hooks that make you get involved, Metaphysical adds another dimension to the science of rap. Born in Pasadena and raised in a farming community in Central California, Metaphysical a.k.a Phil Singer, first turned to rhyming as a young child. His humble beginnings did not allow the luxury of bikes, skateboards, or video games, so poetry became his entertainment and his solace. Back in the day, Metaphysical was known as "Phil Fresh." An aspiring 19-year old rapper, Phil Fresh gained a following by performing in local talent shows and M. C. battles. Phil Fresh's biggest success was getting substantial radio airplay with his single, "Back In Time" on KBOS or "B95." Phil Fresh became Metaphysical in 1993 and returned to Southern California. Metaphysical performed numerous showcases, including ASCAP as well as honing his skills on the "open mic" coffeehouse circuit. The pursuit of his dream almost came to a halt when Metaphysical was involved in a near-fatal car accident one year later. After two months in the hospital, Metaphysical was released on Christmas Eve with the gift of life. 1995 was a year of physical rehabilitation and new beginnings for Metaphysical. He was given a fresh start with a job at the House of Blues. While working a forty-hour week, Metaphysical still managed to write, produce, and engineer the fruits of his creative labor. Inspired by his second chance, Phil founded "Recycle Control," at the House of Blues. "Recycle Control" is a program where the refuse of this popular Hollywood venue is recycled and redeemed for cash. Taking the initiative has always been a defining quality in Metaphysical, and after shopping his demo for several years in Los Angeles with no record contract in sight, Metaphysical decided to take matters into his own hands. Metaphysical recently formed Fred Sandford Music Group and Fred Sandford Music Publishing to get his music and the music of his comrades to the masses. "Intro" is the first release on Fred Sandford Music with more releases to come.
