Album Notes

Ian Bagg began his comedy career in1992 in his native country of Canada. He moved through the ranks of the Canadian club circuit quickly and found himself headlining after only two years. In 1994 he made his first appearance at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Seeking new challenges he moved to New York in 1995 and promptly became a regular at New York City's Comic Strip. You could say that making his home in the city caused a bit of culture shock considering that he hails from the small town of Terrace, 850 miles north of Vancouver (any time your reference point is 850 miles away, you know it's in the middle of nowhere). When he did his first show on Late Night with Conan O'Brien they aired a clip of it the next night on the 6:00 news in his home region. In 1995 he performed at The Toyota Comedy Festival in New York, in '96 he did the U.S. Comedy & Arts Festival in Aspen, CO, and in 2000 returned to The Just For Laughs Festival, where he was selected to perform on the "Best of the Fest" show filmed on the final night.

Ian has come a long way in a short time. He taped his third appearance on Conan O'Brien and his other television credits include "Late Night with Craig Kilborn," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," and "Late Fridays" on NBC. Ian has become a regular on Jay Leno's "Tonight Show." His feature credits include "Coyote Ugly," "The Purpose," "MVP II," and "MVP III."

Great Jokes bad Audio

The CD was awesome and I enjoy it dearly. However, since it was recorded in a night club setting it's hard to listen to while driving as the echoey words meld with my cars engine.

Incredible comic with genious improv. Only comedian I know who can insult a crowd so much they begin to like him more. Original comedy that makes me say "Dane who?"

An unexpected freak show of hilarity...

This CD is nothing like his Comedy Central Presents... show. There are a few of the same jokes, but basically he just makes fun of the audience the entire CD... and it's HILARIOUS!!
