Album Notes

Hi, I'm Ian Butler and I this is my first solo album, called "Creme de la Phlegm" (that's French for "really good mucus")It features 17 humorous and demented songs, spanning many genres, from Punk and Glam, to Country and Funk (there's even a schmaltzy love ballad).

There are 2 songs about underwear and 2 more about eating inappropriate items(Rush Limbaugh and dogs to be specific). Dancers are encouraged to wear deodorant. A toilet is featured. All this - and more - for a lousy 9 bucks!

The album made it's national radio debut in January of 2002 on the Dr Demento show and is being featured on many college and internet radio shows. It has been compared to such artists as Spinal tap and They Might be Giants. One example, "Ian Butler's record is nowhere near as good as Spinal Tap or They Might be Giants." Ha Ha, just kidding! As you can see, I just can't stop making stupid jokes, even at the expense of CD sales!

So if you are in the mood for a laugh, and maybe a little head banging, (not to imply that you have a little head) check out my album. It's cheaper than making your own.
