Album Notes

From February 2008 to February 2009, Ian Doescher set out on the ambitious project of writing and recording one song per week about Portland for an entire year. This album, “The Portland Songs Project,” is a compilation of the twenty best (of the fifty-two total) songs written during that year. The songs on this album include songs about Portland, its people, its places, its landmarks, and more! For more information, visit www.portlandsongs.com. Ian Doescher is a Portland native now happily returned to Portland after several years on the east coast.
