Ian McDougall is well known for his work with Rob McConnell's Boss Brass, where he was lead trombone for twenty years.
This "Ellington Songbook" also features 4 other wonderful musicians including bassist Neil Swainson, who played with George Shearing for over 2 decades, guitarist Oliver Gannon, who has won many awards in Canada, pianist Ron Johnston, who is Canada's answer to Bill Evans, and drummer Craig Scott, who is the driver of this world class band.
