Album Notes

The first Goddess is the great mother Kali. Initiatress of the spiritual path, she takes us out of our predefined ego patterns
so that we are able to take the first steps of transformation.

Kali is terrifying to the ephemeral ego stuck in its limits and prejudices and is therefore often portrayed with black skin, four
arms, wide open glaring eyes, a necklace of severed heads and dances on the graves in the cemetery.

Kali stands for the energies of time, transformation and death. Time is a merciless energy and gives the foundation for all the transformation that takes place in the universe. With time, order turns to chaos, life turns to death, death turns to new
life, and chaos to new order. In every moment of manifestation something is dying, giving place for something
new in a continuous transformation.

We often fear our inevitable death. Meditating with Kali and contemplating the mystery of death will make us more aware
about the mystery and miracle of life itself and help us to transcend our fear. Kali helps us to kill the ephemeral within
us so we can reach the universal and gives power to those who have the courage to take the first step into the unknown.

When the two poles of life and death are intuitively understood through the worship of Kali, a new level of consciousness is born.
