The Icecold Archbishop is the musical alter-ego of Flynn Picardal that becomes manifest when he is not in the laboratory, peering into an alternate universe inhabited by bacteria, metallic pollutants, and obscure biogeochemical cycles. The musical excursion began in Miami with the Probes and the Front and has re-emerged like a recurrent infection for which there is no known cure. The Archbishop hopes that you will help infect others.
The music is comprised of equal portions of power, pop, sarcasm, metal, and electronics. It’s hard, but not too hard. It’s melodic, but not sweet. It’s upbeat, but gets down. There are no songs about love….that topic is better described by others. You will instead hear about death and entropy, about war and apathy, and about lust and bacteria. It is what it is…and that’s all that it is.
