Album Notes

Out of the hearts and souls of co-founders Nola Boice and Dave Braulick "The Electric Man", a van cruises down the desert highway. This is the band ICELICK "The Arizona Soul Healers".
Long time Pacific Northwest musicians, Nola and Dave teamed up to create an electrifying blues band. Nola had actually never met Dave but for three to four years, as she was writing music, she kept hearing a certain guitar sound and a series of notes that just stuck in her head. One day walking into a local music store, she was floored when from in back of the room she heard the guitar that she had been hearing all of those years. She bought one of his solo CD's "Sevens", that was sitting on the counter and after hearing it was blown away by the connection. Dave amazingly had in turn bought one of Nola's CD's "Somewhere In Between" and after hearing it, he had the feeling that they needed to play music together. After the connection was made, Dave and Nola launched into writing original music together and it was second nature. Both believing that music heals, led them deep into the blues.
As the natural progression of their music evolved, they created the band ICELICK. This was formed by taking the last few letters from Boice and Braulick. Their 2004 CD, ICELICK "Inner Truth," was a hit and their haunting rock style had won them an international song award in the category of social improvement from AHA, the Artist Helping Artists organization based in Los Angeles. This was for the song "Have We Forgotten" the bonus track on the CD.
Nola and Dave continue to evolve and not surprisingly have gone full circle. From the blues and back again. It truely has called them back home. As they say " the blues is truth and it heals people". They not only went back to the blues but also decided to make a bigger change and head for the sun.
Nola and Dave then sold everything, except for the music equipment and headed for Arizona. Dave had a dream and asked Nola what a Sedona was? After plugging it in to the computer, they found out it was a beautiful place in Arizona.
So leaving the Pacific Northwest behind, they landed in Arizona and ICELICK "The Arizona Soul Healers" was born.
This international award winning band brings original electric blues and also original rock off of their CD "Inner Truth". The power vocals of Nola Boice and the driven guitar work of Dave Braullick "The Electric Man" combined with the solid rhythm section of long time veterans, Floyd Roberson on drums and Hutch Hutchinson on bass, makes this an experienced band that electrifies your mind and heals and energizes your soul.
