REVIEWS

The Icewagon Flu lads are back with a brief stop in between discs. This time we are treated to covers of traditional irish songs plus a few of the Flu's signature tracks for good measure, and the result is another fun and fine effort from the boys in Hoboken. Fans of the band will love the meshing of jazz/funk/folk/rock/rap..and is that regae? that the Flu incorporate masterfully into covers of songs such as New York Girl and Spanish Lady, and will love hearing the placement of favorites such as "La Ceba" and the near-classic "Nudity" mixed in with the bunch. I can't quit playing the disc. My only complaint is that it's too short as disc, and that isn't because the Flu boys aren't working hard on this disc, but simply because they've become such a tight outfit of talent, that like all fantastic artists, they leave you hungering for the next installment. I can't believe this band isn't major label yet.
