"The Intensive Care Unit" is a 5 - piece hard-charging rock band based near the Maryland/Pennsylvania border. The core group of musicians has been together for almost 5 years with Juan Mackey joining the group in Jan. 2001. Since that time the band has been moving forward at an accelerated pace leading to the creation of the band's debut CD "Desert of Darkness." Juan Mackey sings lead vocals on all tracks with the exception of "Desert of Darkness" w/ Bill Jones singing the lead. Sizzling guitar leads are provided by Scott Kuster on all tracks except tracks 2 & 4 which feature Bill Jones on slide guitar. This CD was a true labor of love. CHECK IT OUT!
