Identical Is Still Hostile Assassins

In Stellar fashion, IDENTICAL has surfaced on the rap music circuit as a promising duo with a winning combination of street-wise rap lyrics and new age flavor.

Identical twins, Santoine (SJ) and Antoine (AJ) Jackson became Hostile in the late 90’s. “Our friends and mentors said that we had ‘a way of hitting the beat with great hostility’ and it just stuck” explains Antoine. Raised by the streets, Identical has an extensive musical history that spans decades.

Early in their career, the duo mimicked their style after favorite rap groups, N.W.A., and Geto Boys. The two used the lyrical style of Esham and Ice Cube as a blueprint for they’re flavor of rap. However after a life altering tragedy IDENTICAL had their own style and decided to take a more original position in the industry.

Since that time, the twins have accomplished a great deal and continue to reinvent themselves in the ever-changing music industry. With breakthrough performances at St. Andrews Hall, the University of Michigan, The Bullfrog and special appearances at Live @ PJ’s and The Shelter. IDENTICAL has been lighting up the stage throughout the mid-west.

The much anticipated follow up album to 2011 Made In Tha’ 80’s, Still Hostile Assassins EP features heavy-hitting music that is sure to keep the streets begging for more. Production on the album includes veteran producer Lenn Swan (12 Tech Mob) and Hollow. With these collaborative efforts and others featured on the album, Still Hostile Assassins EP is sure to exceed the expectations of IDENTICAL fans.
