Identity played live throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2006 and released one CD, Hope and a Future. The band was known for its spirited female vocals, tight harmonies, modern rock sound and Christian lyrics. Identity shared the stage with national artists Salvador, Shaun Groves, The Elms, Superchik, Smalltown Poets, Lost And Found and Clay Crosse. The band's lead singer, Sara Pecchia, won the 2002 Northeast Ohio CCM Rising Star Contest, sponsored by Cleveland's WFHM-95.5 The Fish. Sara now fronts chasetheglow, a Nashville rock band.
