The Days In Calm's journey began with a simple idea. To put tunes to a bunch of poems… and we had initially thought of a title “10 Good Poems”.

Bhushan came up with this suggestion to put music to few selected poems from Sapan’s collection, and thus the journey began. Each new demo track made the picture clear. Simple acoustic tunes started taking shape and more ideas followed.

Nitin (Producer) had something more in mind… and thus began our sessions with some of the most experienced musicians around. Derek’s soulful guitar licks totally blew us away and Rushad & Roger’s bass work held everything as a tightrope. Nitin sequenced drums and everything fell into place.

The Days In Calm’s emotions vary from abstract to strife, from loneliness to lies… and from old age to hope of the promised land. Join us to be part of this journey!
