Album Notes

The International House of Prayer Atlanta is a missions base with unceasing night and day prayer as its central focus. A worship-led prayer meeting began on February 12, 2006, that is still going to this day. It is in this place of prayer that an ache has formed in our hearts. This ache is not for notoriety, platform or position. In fact it is for nothing that man could offer us. It is a deep desire for the knowledge of God and intimacy with the Man, Christ Jesus.

This album is an attempt to convey the heart and the sound of the worship leaders from IHOP Atlanta. All of these worship leaders are full-time intercessory missionaries at IHOP Atlanta, where they are committed to spending at least 40 hours per week in prayer, fasting, and worship before the Lord. Our prayer is that these songs will convey to you the ache that heaven has authored in us and that you too will experience this LONGING to know Jesus, the beautiful Man and Son of God, intimately.
