A soft hum rumbles through the pillars of these casual tracks of jazz fusion mixed with a dash of intelligent pop. Drawing from stylistic colors reminiscent of Sting, Pat Metheny and Dave Holland, this group together sends out gorgeous landscapes of contemplative, introspective, rainy-day jazz fusion. But don't think for a minute that these tunes park themselves in one spot and hunker down. This is deeply absorbing music, superbly well crafted.  It also clever enough to not to show it in ways that would break the mood and flow.  It does flow too, whirling your thoughts away.  Play it alone or else just tell everyone else to be quiet.
