Early on in life, iLLeSt was never able to stay in one place long enough to find a definite home. He, his mother and brother, were constantly on the move as his mother tried her best to make sure her sons had the opportunity to succeed in life.

Years spent in the city of Detroit brought out a love for music in iLLeSt that before didnt exist. He started rapping at the age of 13 while living in Detroit. However, soon after he found his talent his family moved once again, this time to southwest Michigan.

It was there that iLLeSt would develop his lyrical talent. With thoughtful word arrangement and creative metaphors, he raps with a passion and skill that is rarely seen in today's artists. He is consistently working on his skills as he tries to reach his ultimate potential in rap, both lyrically and successfully.

As a truly independent artist, iLLeSt writes and produces all of his songs. His debut album, The Touch, is the first album to be produced by him but will undeniably not be his last. Hard work and dedication have brought him to this point and with his work ethic there should be no limits unreachable. Sounding like nothing you've ever heard before, iLLeSt is revolutionizing the definition of music and hitting you up with things that you didn't realize was even possible... at least until now.
