Expounding an innovative, fresh sound, Ill Subliminal has broken the seal on a magical fusion between electronic and acoustic elements. While combining turntables, drums, keyboards, and a trumpet, Ben Hovey, Matt Barbour, and Eric White will stimulate your eyes, ears, and soul while showing you the infinite possibilities they have discovered.
Their exclusive combination of jazz, funk, and dance music creates a genre of its own kind. The irreplaceable arsenal of live instruments, samples, and impeccable style is about to carry music into its next evolutionary phase. Equally impressive in both studio work and on-stage performance, the Ill Subliminal show is an improvisational wonder that refuses to leave you in your seat.

Innovative sounds
author: scott robinson
Children of the universe shows their own innovative sound mixes, like many of the other cd baby artists. Most of the CD Baby artists are expressing our comtemporary culture with interesting and new sounds. That is why we buy the music-new fusion that the listeners may have not heard of before. You can listen to most of the music while going through the art of modern rock. The cd baby artists, just like Live 365 and fine tune are expressing our contemporary age.
The new music is so different from the culture of newsradio and talk radio which seem to avoid the music genres of cd baby, live 365, fine tune, pandora etc.

Great debut album for a great live band!!
author: Danny Jump
I have seen these 3 guys live on numerous occasions. They always deliver a wonderful show and to be able to do what they do "Live" has always astounded me. Their mix of rythems on "Everybody's Dancin" and "Child of the Universe" is mesmerizing. They switch the speed and take you for a slow ride in "Diary of an Empty Day". And no one can miss the message of "Bad Drugs". All in all a very nice opener for an up and coming band with one of the newest and freshest sounds around.
