A one-man musical entity based in Houston, TX.
Imperfect, for all intents and purposes has died. There will be no new music, though this release will remain available until... well, until it isn't.
Imperfect is(was) Sean Valant, who also served as singer and guitarist for Houston political rockers "Sense of Reason" and guitarist for acoustic un-rockers, "Really? Yes, Really."
Imperfect music is predominately instrumental. This record contains vocals on just one song, a poem written and performed by one Solana Lael.
Using unique electronically programmed tracks, as well as live guitar, bass and keyboards, "Chapter I" flows seamlessly between genres without sacrificing the cohesiveness of a solid record or straying too far from it's heavy, electronic roots.
Having embraced the current state of technology that the mainstream industry has shied away from, "Chapter I" invites people to go ahead and burn copies of the disk for their friends right on the back cover artwork.
Thank you.

Since other peoples' opinions matter:
"...some truly heavy industrial music that invokes memories of some of the past Wax Trax! bands that knew how to blend electronics with heavy distorted guitar...." - Smother.net
"...quite literally Sean Valant's masterpiece... so calm, and yet, artistic... what a wonderful CD!" - Ftworthmusic.com
"...as original as it gets..." --- Texas LIVE!

Slick, mature ambient industrial
author: the Jax
With touches of grunge, jazz piano, technogoth, & doom metal. Very urban sound, good to drive with, but pop it in your discman and walk your city streets - you'll feel like you're playing old Doom or Duke Nukem levels. Simple, but I hear something new every time I spin it. This CD just feels COOL - the only thing wrong is the name - it's far from Imperfect!
