This album, first recorded in 1989 and then re-mastered in 1991, opened the doors for Inca Son to the world market. It is their top selling CD, and features, in addition to some lively original compositions, a stirring arrangement of the traditional “El Condor Pasa,” known in Peru as “Hymn to the Andes.” Following the release of this album, Inca Son was invited to record for the PBS special Columbus and the Age of Discovery.
