Album Notes

Inclusive Rhythm Foundation Release Premiere Album: Do You Love You?

Courtyard Music’s first offering mixes world, rock, reggae and electronic in a sublime songset that stirs the heart and soul.

With nearly 70 minutes of music across eleven tracks, Inclusive Rhythm Foundation represents a new breed of artistic creation. With band members hailing from the US, Australia and Spain, the non-genre songs explore humanity, love and the evolving human spirit.

“Our spontaneity lends to an intimacy that translates well to the listener transcending many different environments,” notes Executive Producer and band-member Jason Gordon. “While we took many months revisiting and mixing the album, we believe the tracks resemble a world-view that focuses on being conscientious, creative and caring.”

Song selections range from the pop/dance ALL ABOARD to drum-circle inspirations of BALAFONE SANDWICH. The 1970’s style rock-anthem FRUIT BEARING TREE gives way to a gospel-style MY LOVE and the lushly orchestrated and heartfelt sentiment of I WISH YOU PEACE ending with TOUCHED in reverence to all who touch and inspire us.

“Our intention was to rhythmically capture as many styles as possible and draw on the heartfelt inspirations of our members and their culture,” noted GRAMMY® producer David Ruttenberg. “From smokey bar-room jazz tracks like WALKIN’ THROUGH THE STORM to the radio-friendly and electronic-styles of TOUCHED, IRF has managed to do what few artists these days dare: to be courageous, buck the trend of mono-dimensionalism, and take chances with their music.”
